A day in the park

Paxton was born on March 22 of this year, so of course he was ready to get to the park for the first time. So we took him to a public park down the street. Mainly it was to give him some sun.

So, obviously he wasn't into the playground equipment, yet, but he likes being outside. One of my favorite parts of being a new dad is watching him with his mom.  It's very obvious that he's going to be a momma's boy.  He actually already is.

I think his favorite part of the park was swinging in the little kid's swing.

I found a pretty neat photo enhancement trick online for Photoshop. I am still learning on enhancing digital photos. I can remember scratching negatives with a penny in the darkroom, but obviously Photoshop offers a lot more options.  However, I had changed my major after completing advance darkroom.  This pictures has a slight haze with a 45% Gaussian with a 50% opacity to give it a fuzzy looks which softens the subject.

How sweet are they?
After the swinging it was more mom and Paxton time as he started to get tired from this adventure.

Sucking that thumb like me. Hopefully he's not doing it at 6, like me

After all of this, he left with a smile on his face...

Look at those dimples

We are going to the lake this weekend for our first family vacation. Since the heat has been so intense lately, we probably won't take him on the lake, but he loves the swimming pool in his new infant raft. So be watching for my next post documenting it.
